Ok, you have seen these ads alot and I hate to be the one adding another missing Ipod but the fact is, the school can't/won't do anything about it but tell the students to do their own leg work to find their missing items.

Update:

On Thursday 2/2/12 during P.E. my son had his Ipod touch and school clothes in the P.E. locker room on the bench because his assigned locker would not open and the time it takes for the lockers to be unlocked is unreasonable therefore instead of receiving a 'tardy' for broken locker, he took the chance of leaving his belongings on the bench because the room is supposed to be secured. Unfortunately, because of the limited amount of lockers, these lockers are assigned and shared by other students who also share the combination for these assigned lockers.

Upon returning to retrieve his personal items after class, he found his Ipod gone and asked all of the students around him if they had seen it, but of course - no one had.

He then went to the front desk of the High School to ask if anyone had turned in his Ipod and the lady at the front desk simply shrug her shoulders and said nope sorry, there is nothing we can do about missing Ipods.

She suggested that he go back to his P.E. teacher to ask her to 'ask' the other students if they had seen his Ipod and she simply asked (with her low voice) the remaining students from his P.E. class who were still lingering in the area, "Has anyone seen an Ipod?" No one responded, so she turned to my son and said "No one's seen it!"

I am sooooooooooooo frustrated and OVER the lack of assistance the school seems to give. There are only so many students who share these lockers and are assigned the codes for the lockers - SO, IS IT REALLY BRAIN SCIENCE?

Parents - Why are you allowing your child to bring into your home something that you KNOW you did not purchase? OR, an Ipod that you know that they themselves did not purchase?

Please have a conscience to be more responsible about the misc. items that your child/ren are bringing home and that do not belong to them. I am a mother of 4 and find it appauling that my child cannot go to school without feeling that their personal belongings can be violated and stolen at anytime during class and no one at the schools seem to care as this is not the first time that one of my kids have locked their items in their P.E. locker and they have been removed by another student and no one at the school cared.

If you have it, please take it to the Security Office on the Support Site.

Otherwise you can call me on: 349-709-2807 and I will arrange to meet you with no questions asked.
