Japanese Quilts; soft-bound 8 1/2” x 11”, 142 pages
with color photos of quilts and text explaining the design
concept of each one. This is an interesting book because
you can see a connection between traditional American
patterns and the origami culture of Japan. Includes some
history on the development of quilting in Japan.
Tumbling Blocks - New Quilts from an Old Favorite;
soft-bound 8 1/2” x 11”, 94 pages with color photos and
diagrams of interesting quilts made from the traditional
Tumbling Block pattern but with a new twist. Each artist
explains their idea and shows the pattern for each quilt.
