Not a restaurant but a magnificent venue for gala receptions, cocktails, cultural and artistic events. Overlooking the Pozzuoli Bay, this magnificently restored Roman villa with glassed-in mosaic floors, large terrace and a lush garden was a 19th-century find then restored by the Carannante family. Open Friday-Sunday for dinner. The owner, Angelo, speaks very good english and is very friendly.
Last week we ate there he told us they are having a disco party on Friday July 16th. Price will be 20 euro per person. will include all drinks, and many appetizers. They are going to have a DJ and dancing on the outdoor patio!!

This place has been open a little more than a month. Excellent atmosphere. Appetizers are buffett style, Italian and Brazilian dishes. After that they bring on the meat slice it till you stay stop, about 7 different kinds, then grilled pineapple. Basic price is 29 euro. Desserts and drinks extra. Band plays on weekends good vibe.

Owners are husband (Vincenzo) and wife (Rosa). They speak only Neopolitan. Menu includes items such as bruscetta, croche, zepelini, pizzas, and pastas. Vincenzo makes his own wine (red & white) and limoncello. Open just for dinner (7ish). Closed on Wednesdays.
Directions: Leave Support Site, go over bridge toward Aversa, make left at traffic light (where Patrick's Automotive is), take that road all the way down and then make right. You'll come to T-intersection. The T-intersection brings you to a one-way to the left so you cannot drive right. To your immediate right is the restaurant. To your left is a small park usually filled with kids on scooters just hanging out. Park in one of the park's parking spots and then walk over to the restaurant.

Papajo's is GREAT! Whenever you visit the Giugliano mall forget about McD's or Spizzico, or Fratelli LaBufala...! Papajo's better! they are located inside the new Fair shopping building (dark brown, used to be Conforama) but you can access the restaurant from the outside, the door is to the right of the bldg, or from inside Fair. Great complete quick meal at lunchtime - pizza is great! - prices are good too, no more than 8 to 10 Euro. Wonderful louge bar if you like happy hour (great cocktails) or you happen to be there around late afternoon, several staff speak great english. In the evening they have a more refined menu choice, more expensive than the lunchtime period, count around Euro 30 - but of course it depends on what you eat! Great tempura, fantastic eggplant parmesan and seafood salad, great ravioli amalfitana (must try!!!) and wonderful choice of meats and wines. The place is elegant, fantastic parking, and great staff. A must try whenever you're in the area! They are often open through 2 a.m. (can't remember their closing day) - Give it a try!

The winery we visited Friday. You can take your own bottles and fill up. We liked the Anglianico and the Falanghina. This is the place the MWR takes you to. Nice folks. Saturdays are best for filling up they said, less big trucks rolling in and around. No food just good wine.

Recommended for seafood, but they also serve wood-fired pizza and pasta. I would say the risotto alla pescatora is the best I've had anywhere. All seafood pasta is delicious and well prepared. Service (they know me) is very good, but you still have to ask for the check. In summertime, they have a live music on weekends. Open every day of the week. An average, complete meal in Naples is about 30 euros - that's my definition of average and that's how this place is priced.

Great restaurant and reasonable prices. Good for families with children, big parties or just two people. It is dedicated to the Naples Soccer Team so there is alot of Soccer song chanting and tv's running soccer footage which I personally think is pretty cool. There is karaoke on Friday's. Two of the owners speak pretty good english as one of them used to work on the Support Site. Open Tuesday through Sunday and even open for lunch on most days. If you go on Saturday after 9 I'd recommend making a reservation and since they know english you could call with no problems. Plenty of parking and just really great food, nice staff and a great atmosphere. There is also pizza available to go and for delivery around the Licola area.

I hate to say it, but MickeyDees, Golden Arches, "american embassy" tastes good some times when you have to eat yet another pizza. Don't get me wrong and don't send hate mail saying "your in italy blah blah learn the culture" Got it, I do, learning Italian, how to cook it, love the people, love Naples (really I do) the whole ball of wax. This place has mixed reviews here - primarily because they can cook your food two different ways. The key for Americans is to CALL AHEAD. If they know you're coming, they can break out the spices and make some amazing food & guac. If you don't call, you get the food prepared the Italian way (bland). So - make sure you call ahead. This place is awesome.

Master pizza makers since 1870. This is the Napoli pizza joint. Two types of pizza, margharita and marinara, regular or medium. Soda, water, beer. That's it. Pizzas are 4.50euro and come quickly. You'll have to wait outside but it's worth it. Walk up to the door, tell them how many in your party and wait. I always go across the street for a beer or cafe' while waiting. My wife does some window shopping.

We went to Amore Sushi this evening because we saw a review that recommend it on this web site. The directions were helpful to finding the place but everything else was wrong. Upon entering the resturant, the first thing that hit us was the smell....it was RANK. We are avid sushi eaters and this was not a normal sushi place smell. But we sat down and gave the food a shot. The california roll was ok but at 2 euro a piece is expensive. The salmon on rice was plane and on top of that the sashimi was not cold. It was a yucky room temp. We also ordered the Dragon roll which looked good in the picture but when it was set in front of us, it looked nothing like the picture. Over all the place was not good and we couldnt wait to get out of there.

Fixed-price Pranzo Veloce lunch for about 8 euro with fixed first and second, vegetable and drink of your choice. take the overpass and drive towards Gricignano. Drive 0.6 miles, to the first T intersection (There is an API gas station in front og you.) Turn right. Go 0.5 miles, and turn left at the T intersection just past the raildoad underpass. Go 0.8 miles. You will be traveling out of town but then you will re-enter a town area. Watch for the restaurant sign on the right, up high. It is not a large sign. The best parking is on the street to the right just before the restaurant. It is a great place to go too.

This was our 20th wedding anniversary place and it was perfect. They speak some english. Go hungry and ready to experience Italian hospitality. It was 65 euro, for two apps, two pasta, 1 steak 1/2 bottle of wine and coffee.
Upscale, great for date night once in a while.

The evening a I went, he place was packed with a mixture of American and Italian clientele. Two levels and a terrace, we found our table next to a comfortable woodburning stove. Their menu is seasonal, representing the best that Campania, particularly Campi Flegrei has to offer. Nando (the owner) suggested we try the appetizers. We agreed and were treated to a parade of specialties proudly brought to our table by a simpatico staff.
• Bruschetta with lardo nostrano
• Tagliere con cacio ricotta e salami dei Campi Flegrei
• Zuppa di fagioli (!!!!!)
• Panpata con salsiccia e friarielli (a pastry with cheese, sausauge and the famous friarielli greens baked together!!!!)
• Crepes di ricotta con fonduta di noce di Sorrento(!!!!ricotta cheese crepes with cheese and nuts from Sorrento!!!!)
• Zucca e salsiccia ( creamy pumpkin cooked to perfection with hints of sausage, garlic, and olive oil!!!)
• Pancotto di broccoli con crema di patate (!!!!)
Then it was time to move on to something else. I chose to skip the first course and go for beef braised in aglianico with mashed potatoes. Very tender…..
Wine list? Basically a book featuring almost every wine imaginable. Our choice….Montegauro –Piedirosso Riserva 2007 DOC from Grotte del Sole.
Excellent choice of desserts, I chose the chocolate flan. This is basically a chocolate brownie covered with powdered sugar oozing with melted chocolate. A warm, toasty way to end an amazing meal before we stepped out into the cold night air.

This restaurant is located less that 4 miles from the Support Site, the pizza and antipasta are phenomenal, they have local spumanti which is absolutely delicious, and the prices are not bad. I went during the week and they were very slow, the service was awesome, they bring out later dishes as you finish your current dish, and the mployees are very polite. Not sure how busy they are on weekends yet, but they are closed Monday. Definitely a must try for a restaraunt this close to the S/S.

Tie this visit in with a trip to Abbey and war museums. Worth the drive! Also this is a very kid-friendly place with a huge play area (indoor and outdoor) for toddlers and young kids.

Amore Sushi is located in Caserta, it can be hard to get to when they block off the roads in the shopping center. After taking a long time to find though, the sushi was excellent, for anyone craving sushi, I think that it is a good place to go. when you get to the address, it is a long hallway lined with stores, Amore Sushi is all the way back on the left. The prices are slightly on the high side compared to sushi in the US, but worth it for a treat. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff were nice.

Oh YA!!! Its Mexicain- no pasta or pizza on the menu here. This is good quality basic Mexican-food. No there is no Italian translation either this guy does an awesome job at keeping it real. This place is a MUST go to and not some time while your in Naples I mean tonight. It was a little challenge to find so use the GPS position here your TOM TO M will mess it up going from the street address. Take the phone number if you still get lost you will be close and the owner can talk you in. His English is great. The restaurant is tiny no more than 40 seats in the place. This restaurant is tucked in among many eateries of its type along the shore line in picturesque Pozzuoli. Mare Luna is situated in the middle of the strip, perfect for Thursday-Saturday people watching, a hop and a skip from home-made Gelato waffle cones and parking is available, but can be challenging. Weather seated under the awning or immersed in AC in Luna’s spacious dinning room you are well served by staff and the occasional street performer. The menu is seafood dominant, but easily accommodates pasta dishes and of course – pizza. While we were not in the mood for it, the most notable menu item is the antipasti made up of many tapast type dishes for a total of 15 Euro. My party of three enjoyed the mixed fried antipasti, a bottle of “house” red wine, baked fish with potatoes, spicy Penne pasta, Rucula salad, and fried calamari for a total of 60 Euro. I rate Mare Luna 7.5 out of 10.
